I think the two trees are too close to each other. Especially the one at 
the back is hardly visible. I would move it a bit backwards and to the 
right.

Otherwise, you seem to have solved the branch attachments issue. Higher 
resolution?

Fair enough and an excellent starting point indeed. I was only worried 
about possible strange entanglement situations.
