I like it just the way it is. Simple, well-modelled, nicely textured and
lighted... Like a minimalist still-life. Not really much more you could do with
this scene.
perhaps a wood grain on the plane to make it look like it's sitting on a table,
but not really necessary.
Re-render it in 16:9 and it would make excellent wallpaper.

Hello. I like the color gradient of the bowl. It looks like the star is
intersecting the bowl and floating at some other points. not really physically
resting on it.

I often use colors not very bright. The colors have each r, g, b ranges 0.2~0.6

An elegant way to prevent the clipping issue would be to offset the bottom of
your star from the center of the sphere that makes the bowl:
Offset = sqrt( bowlrad^2 - starred^2 ) + fudge
