Hi,
This is my first try of making anaglyph using POV. This is a test for a
potential use at my workplace. The model of the hut is a old one I've made.
Rendered once with a blue texture and once with a red texture, with 6.5cm
translation of the camera between both. Blending of the 2 pictures has been done
using the composite tool of Imagemagick. To be looked at with a blue filter on
the right eye and a red filter on the left eye. Colored/animated tests may
follow depending on the interest from my colleagues.
Enjoy !

Looks neat!
Usually the blue filters are actually cyan filters, so you can render
the image with a red (rgb <1,0,0>) and cyan (rgb <0,1,1>) texture. This
gives the image a grey appearance overall.

There is nice detail for the stereo effect to show up.
I like.

Thanks for your comments.
clipka > You're right. I had only two small pieces of red and blue cellophane at
that time, but I could buy more yesterday evening. So, making proper red and
cyan glasses will be this week end handwork project ! ;-)

Nice one! I get good 3d detail on the hut but can't seem to
get the images of the background trees to merge.

Hi,
The focus is on the hut. If you look at a different location, the farther it is
from the hut the less the 3d effect works. That's the inconvenient of
anaglyphs...
