I have heard of people stealing lead from church roofs and the copper
from power lines but never from the phone lines. ;-)

Cooooool! Where do you get the accurate measures for the B3? Or do you
in fact own such an organ yourself?
See you in Khyberspace!

That sounds more like badness than for profit, stealing. No wonder Gail
Shaw carried a katana in her car.

They show as jpg on the web. It must be Thunderbird that strips out the
extension.

They sell the copper to scrapyards for drug money.

I was going to say that there can't be much copper in telephone wire.
When I remembered that my father was called to a public toilet where
lots of smoke was coming out. (He was a fireman.) The attendant was
burning off the insulation from domestic power cable.

Maybe I don't want to visit SA. Nigeria was bad enough.

They steal copper everywhere. Very popular here are ground cables from catenary
supports. But after one thief has been shot some two years ago I haven't
experienced the usual 2 hour delay.
But to the Images. I liked the tryptichon version better than the single images
but all are wonderful "paintings".
Best regards,
Michael
