Here's an image I'm working on. It's GERTY, from the movie Moon. Modeling is
time consuming. Texturing is, on the other hand, a bit more challenging. Maybe
I'll post the textured one when I'm done with it.

Thanks! It is Blender. Working on lighting and texturing. Test render of both
should be done in several hours.

Not bad! I have some problem with the dirt however. It seems part of the
paint, not as an additional layer.

BTW, this is a Blender Cycles render. Currently trying to redo the materials for

Yes, it would be interesting to compare Cycles to POV-Ray.

Ok, I give up now. I can't get the lighting to match in Povray. Using high
emission box lights, which is what I did with Blender scene, doesn't work out so
well in Povray or Uberpov's stochastic rendering.
