Here's my tc-rtc entry. I'm tired of working on it. Description is over on the
tc-rtc page.

That series of books by Arthur C Clarke was awesome! :)
Stephen Baxter is really great too, and he did some work with Arthur and Terry
Pratchett. I burned through all of Baxter's works [Save for Proxima, which isn't
on ibooks yet] in about three months lol! Got my wife hooked on him too. Working
on the entire Dune series now. Michael McClosky is good too.
Sorry for off topic there. :)
Ian

Read through the 2001 series way back when also. Didn't want to put them down or
have the series end.

The last author of SF I have read is Ph. K Dick, and it is a long time ago.

I just finished Peter F. Hamilton's epic Commonwealth "space opera" (Misspent
Youth / Pandora's Star / Judas Unchained) and found it to be truly original and
entertaining, and extremely well written throughout. HIGHLY recommended!
Starting his "Void" books now...
