I am unable to get the edges smooth. I have highlighted the edges of the tube in
the attachment.
How to make the edges of the tube to look more smooth. Any help is grateful.

I know this! You should use anti-aliasing.

Thanks for the reply. As per suggestion, i rendered it and the image looks fine

Another tip: use a lower background/object colour contrast.
