A humble Tuesday late evening doodle.

Starting out with "no frakkin' clue what I'm up to this time" and resulting in
an isosurface object with SSLT and some fiddling around with camera and focal
blur. =)

Total render time 2h 22m 35s.

Nice. Looks like cookie dough, or jade cookie dough, or a really large booger.

https://www.google.co.za/search?q=dumpling&safe=off&espv=210&es_sm=122&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=ajjpUrWyDIexhAfahYHoCw&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1344&bih=759#q=souskluitjies&safe=off&tbm=isch

Google translates it as "dumplings" but it seems South African dumplings
differ from the rest of the world.

Nice, looks like a ball of melted wax to me, I like the grainy effect of the
image as well (not something I usually like but in this case it looks really
good).

Yeah, generally I'm not a big fan of graininess either. I tried a lot of stuff
to get it all look smoother, but didn't quite figure it out yet. At first I
thought it's the focal blur camera, but adjustments there didn't really improve
anything. Many of the radiosity settings are somewhat close to or even at the
default values as I strived for keeping the render times sensible, but I guess I
could still try and adjust some of those to see what happens.

But then again, the grainy effect brings a sort of an "artistic touch" in it as
well now when thinking of it. =)

Good job, very realistic, but unknown object!
