The left column of each pair is from the first replacement version of
M_Spectral_Metal(); the right column of each pair is from the second replacement
version.  The first attempt looks more believable (although I've never seen
platinum to know what it looks like).

To my eye, the first column looks right but the person we really need to
give a definitive answer would have been the late-lamented St (the
founder of Tina Chep).
