I just had a U.S. Patent issuance, "Via chains for defect localization". Povray
was very helpful in formulating my idea, and communicating it. Pages 5 and 6
actually contain unmodified images of renderings I'd supplied with the
Application. (Only problem, it looks like it's gone through a FAX machine, and
the technical information is basically lost). It is supposed to be two
independently colored chains.)
Is this the first use of POV-Ray in a published patent?
