I need to model a wooden captain-style chair, like attached.

Does anyone know if this sort of thing already exists?

Thanks!

Take a look at http://tf3dm.com
Or maybe if you needs is not urgent I can model it.

Thanks for the link. I may find other things useful there.
They only had ONE chair - not the kind I need.

If there's a drawing with measurements I could team up with you to do parts...
(It doesn't need to be very fancy - cylindrical rails would do for now.
I certainly appreciate the offer! :)

I think I have about a month until it needs to be implemented.

If you have one month, I can model some chairs, simple or more complex. DO you
want it with uv_mapping textures or not?

It's primarily for modeling a foot getting caught between the spindles, so
"brown" would likely be fine.

I know squat about textures except the remedial stuff I'd played with modeling
wood and glass and metal so if it doesn't take super long - have at it. My OCD
demands that it look good. ;)

I'd be happy to return the favor when I have the chance - I'll likely be
incommunicado for about 5 months, but then I should be around to obsessively
model things.

Try browsing archive3d.net for a lot of free "chairs, tables and sofas" (the
menu is to the right).

Best regards,
Michael

I guess I'll have to add my own.
