Hi all,
back in 2003 I posted a WIP1 on a Gilles Tran reminescence (pipetrees), which
cannot be searched anymore because of povray-server problems nine years before.
Now I have a new 64-bit octocore system and tested it with some scene
enhancements not possible with my old computer setup (content, reflection,
pixels, radiosity settings...).
Indeed the scene rendered despite a 10 GB need...
I'll post the whole scene on povray.binaries.scene-files.

Thank you very much!
By the way - as a chemist I really love your protein complex image...

Thanks - it's a pity not seeing an oyonale update since a long time...

Yes indeed. I go there once in a while hoping for new vistas... and
getting inspiration.

Ah... for a moment I thought that Gilles was back... :(

Amazing... both the result and that it rendered at all.

I feel with you...

The result is quite nice, which is surprising for such a simple scene...
I tried to render it because of a message from you mentioning your AMD Phenom
multicore 64 bit system...
Currently I build a passivhouse with as much solar power as possible (very
expensive), but I had to invest in a new computer, so why not buy a modern
octocore system with 16 GB RAM...
