It is not such a disadvantage I believe as one can see sometimes those
kind of texture changes in nature as well.

Sure. Now we just need that old Poseray version again... or an addition
to the latest version. My old versions have all been deleted ages ago. :-)

I see that Norbert posted the Zip file. You could have used the Wayback
Machine.

No problem, Thomas.
By the way, 3.8.15 doesn't have the option for mesh output instead of mesh2.
This special 3.8.7 option can be found at "Povray Output / Scene Options / Use
mesh for the geometry definitions. (Default is mesh2)".
Of course earlier Poseray versions export to mesh formate too, but they don't
have the useful possibility to import povray mesh2 files...
