The outside ring's section is a spline, and each of the 16 segments are composed
of thin prisms extruded from this spline and rotated.
The inner part is also prisms out of another (more complex) spline and
duplicated by symmetry and rotation. Theses prisms are decorated with
sphere_sweeps following the same spline.
The decorating roses are isosurfaces using ripple pattern.

Thank you, Master. Next step: mortar between ring segments. Then, oldifying
textures (might be way more tricky than shaping ...).
