Hi all, I've been experimenting a lot with isosurface terrains and media
clouds/mist lately. Here's a beta 39 shot that includes Lucy using some subtle
SSLT.
Cheers,
Rob

It like the clouds, very convincing!
Is the "glowing" effect on Lucy due to SSLT, some kind
of luminous bloom or just normal lighting and media?

Absolutely lovely clouds, so much better than anything I've ever managed (or
even hoped for!) What sort of render time are you looking at?

What a beautiful image. Everything about it, even the aspect ratio! I concur
about the clouds being top-notch; they have an ethereal look that I don't think
I've ever seen in a POV image before. Kind of like they're just hanging in the
air, languid, *slowly* morphing into other shapes. The immediate thought that
comes to my mind is a kind of 'Mount Olympus' atmosphere, somewhat real, yet
somewhat heavenly. And the statue's textures, lighting etc. go so well with it.
I do see a slight resemblence to the old, classic Columbia Pictures logo. ;-)
This image belongs in the 'Hall of Fame.'

I agree about the clouds. I'd love to see the media statement for them.
Gorgeous!

don't disappoint them saying it is mere 2D post-production! :p
