Hello there,

Here's a scaled-down version of the final or at least close to final version of
the Metallica logo I've been working on for a while. It's 12000 x 6900 pixels
(meant to be printed at 300 DPI). I would welcome any comments or suggestions
and especially criticism.

I'll also post some full-size detail images. I apologize for the numerous
postings since I use the web-based interface and can't attach multiple pictures.

Here are a few notes:
* Everything is modeled by hand, except the faces are height_fields.
* The second face from the left is Cliff.
* The font used for the title at the bottom is copied from the "Master Of
Puppets" album cover.
* Kenneth suggested a method of making the pineapple shape of the hand grenade,
which I couldn't figure out myself. Thanks again, Kenneth!
* The scale of the bullets and grenade don't quite match. I may still fix this.
* In case anyone's wondering, this project is not meant to glorify war.
* Without version 3.7, the image would have taken about ten to twelve days to
render.

The colors appear a little washed out, but maybe that fits the theme.
