Ug. (Pronounced like it sounds.) I mean nice modeling and lighting (although I
think the hind legs need to extend back a little more), but nevertheless, Ug.

This one's just a bit bigger, but the position is very similar. More weight of
course, but a little arch to the back and the legs extend a little more.

Nice. Here are some improvement proposals:

Stretch the cat a bit. Cats can stretch quite a lot, some 20% between shoulders
and rhump. The neck can stretch a similar amount.
Bring both front paws closer to the red spot.
Bend the tail in an up curl.
Possibly, have one or both back legs leaving the floor.

OK, a cat with a better pose.

Not really, to be honest; the left hind leg must be way further back. A cat
trying to catch some prey is always attacking with a kind of jumping motion
(even at minimal distances), and putting its full weight on the front legs to
hold its prey more firmly. Pulling a hind leg closer for better balance, like a
human would do, would only take pressure off the prey, possibly giving a totally
different meaning to the words "happy meal"...

(Cats don't need to balance their weight - they *are* balance...)

The front left paw is still down. A cat trying to catch the spot of a laser
pointer goes forward with BOTH front paws. If one of the rear legs is off the
ground, it's the forward one, not the back one.
The tail is much better.

Another point that I missed last time: The front leg looks much to thick near
the shoulder. Here, it's as thick as the neck.
