Hi people,

this is in a VERY early stage of development and shall soon become this year's
chrismas card - since only one of those who shall recieve it might be looking
here (and maybe NOT) this won't be a spoiler...

The tree is the same simple thing as in
http://news.povray.org/povray.binaries.images/thread/%3Cweb.4588f230a7c921773d2e34360%40news.povray.org%3E
without candles and stuff...

There will be a stable, and an ox waiting for the family.
The snow is made with Gilles Tran's MakeSnow macro, and the astronomical stuff
is made with Chris Colefax's GALAXY.inc - and here comes my little question:
Following the wording of their licenses, I should give credit to them for using
these macros, which I surely would do cause I won't give away other people's
work as mine, but it might look slightly out of place on a chrismas card,
wouldn't it?

Any advice/comments/etc. would be welcome!

Thank you in advance
Karl

It's very nice, and will work fine with the other parts in it too.

As for creds for Gilles and Chris, I doubt they'll jump on you for not
crediting them, (and you have already done so above), but will this be a
proper printed folding Christmas card? If so, just add their names on the
back, I guess.

Thank you!

Probably not, more like a simple postcard!
I think I will put in some minuscule writing at the border, just like I did in
the old pictures with my own copyright :-)

Happy raytracing...
