OK couldn't let that go: (if I hit the png this time)
  right     x                //*(image_width/image_height
  up        y*(image_height/image_width)
  direction z*(image_height/image_width)

hand-tool pos fixed

I was going to try and snag female hair from here:
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=a9764ac4e86af2e4ff8a6b1ceab25ae8
268kb collada

but 2 problems:
Blender has never loaded a collada (dae) file yet.
NOR can I make sense of face indices ... HELP!

can anyone extract the hair, or tell me how 18 faces_indices equals 2 triangles?

data for "mesh3" in that file:
<source id="mesh3-geometry-position">
<float_array id="mesh3-geometry-position-array" count="12">-0.060000 0.360000
0.956100 -0.060000 0.360000 0.640000 -0.741200 0.360000 0.956100 -0.754000
0.360000 0.640000 </float_array>
<accessor source="#mesh3-geometry-position-array" count="4" stride="3">
<float_array id="mesh3-geometry-normal-array" count="3">0.000000 1.000000
0.000000 </float_array>
<float_array id="mesh3-geometry-uv-array" count="8">0.060000 0.956100 0.060000
0.640000 0.741200 0.956100 0.754000 0.640000 </float_array>

<triangles material="material0" count="2">
<input semantic="VERTEX" source="#mesh3-geometry-vertex" offset="0"/>
<input semantic="NORMAL" source="#mesh3-geometry-normal" offset="1"/>
<input semantic="TEXCOORD" source="#mesh3-geometry-uv" offset="2" set="0"/>
<p>0 0 0 1 0 1 2 0 2 2 0 2 1 0 1 3 0 3 </p>
</triangles>

DeltaFlyer sigs: matrix <1,0,0,0,1,0,0,0,-1,0,0,0>

Sorry, didn't mean to confuse everyone.
