any file suffix you want for pov text script
was the idea when writing Bezier editor.
..txt
..pov
..inc
but definitely import .svg
waiting for 90 frames, (so cpu maxed, yawn)
have a command line mpgenc from UC Berkeley with source now.
nutin 2 do but wait.
But this is what everyone should have, as in being svg-pov load functional.

Perhaps I grabbed an older version or something. The top half of the screen
shot looks like what I have, however the bottom half dosen't. It looks like
there is zoom capability amoung other features that I've wondered why can't
it do that?
help/about says version 1.2 author Alessandro Falappa that I got from here:
http://www.geocities.com/zimux0081/bank_source/
The copy that Tim Attwood put in binaries.utilities has a problem as well.
All the files in that zip extract with the exception of the executable
itself. WinZip tells me that windows has blocked the extraction.
Do you have a zip of that application or a pointer to where you got it?
Cheers

URL of this file:
also spent 4 hours preparing and testing Bezier editor, got out new install of
mirc and loaded it.
edited and fixed so there are 2 versions, 6-decimal script only, and DLL version
with 15 decimal accuracy
readme If anyone wants to try scripted Bezier editor.
; load Bezier.mrc file (alt-r) into remote tab of mIRC editor
; no auto opening res, go down about 15-20 lines make sure you can handle the
numbers
; written @ 1280x1024, better check if you're running less.
; text editor is wordpad.exe, edit if needed

OK we can probably see I am still asleep sorry 'bout that.
Bottom half requires mirc, here's my script (script only version for ease)
; Important stuff:
; needs handle length input GUI, obj translate, some more mutli-spline
interface.
; pov files should stick to some format like:
; 168,
; <-88,-155.25406>, or likely fail
; load Bezier.mrc file (alt-r) into remote tab of mIRC editor
; no auto opening res, go down about 15-20 lines make sure you can handle the
numbers
; written @ 1280x1024, better check if you're running less.
; text editor is wordpad.exe, edit if needed
You dont need luck, if you have any questions, hopefully I'll be watching and
can answer. email me also if you want.

this appears to be same a Tim posted. BTW: the windows has blocked
extraction error was on MY end. I drilled to the zip file with windows
explorer and right-clicked selected properties and I'll be damned there was
an Unlock button. Never seen that before. Doh! WinZip help file pointed me
in that direction.

ok .... now I see your screen shot is of two apps ..... SplineEditor and
Beizier Editor .... did I get that right? You have kind of a cryptic style
of communication ;-)
btw: yes I'd like to give B.E. a try.
Cheers

I should expect question because the documentation is non-existent.
something like stargate.svg uses "Import SVG z..."
because it is multi-spline within an SVG spline, each ending in "z"
single splines can use "Import SVG ..."
what else? mostly bug and code needs, I can do alot with it, hopefully not just
cause I wrote it.

From Wikipedia:
mIRC is an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) client for Microsoft Windows, created
in 1995 and developed by Khaled Mardam-Bey. Although it is a fully
functional chat utility, its integrated scripting language makes it
extensible and versatile.
Is that what I need to run BE?
Yikes!!!!
Ciao

what else?
oh ya, svg imports auto write pov files, if not in working dir of file search
dialog, check mirc root dir, some files may be written there also.
an .inc with multi-splines and individual .pov files.
all this from memory, dont quote me, just watch all your dirs, for whats
happening

StargateGlyphs2union.pov
StargateGlyphs2.inc
obj*.pov
was written in 30-40 secs (on my slow machine)
to $scriptdir (mirc\bezier should be something like that)
but only loaded last spline into editor.
you could then steer file search dialog to this dir and edit one by one.
import centers currently in svgreader.mrc
alias _fRead_svg_spline_ { line 456
Import SVG...: svgsearch
alias _fRead_svg_spline_split { line 590
Import SVG z...: svgsearch 1
allow it to read the numbers, or input known center

allow it to read the numbers, or input known center
needs a GUI for that, on the menu.
and imports dont work if you dont right click, "find spline..." first.
import dialog reads file search directory field for a starting place.
hence file search dialog should auto-open when running the program.
lots could be fixed
