Hi all.
I finally made the zip file with the chessboard and all the pieces.
Here you can see a view from the whites position.
The file is available at my website (finally translated into English), in the
objects section, with other new objects (a cane and glasses).

Spanish version:

The zip file contains a readme.txt file with instructions (also a leeme.txt file
in Spanish) and each .pov, .inc and .ini files files are commented.
I hope you'll enjoy it.

Just a little nit picking:
The numbers on the right and on the black side should be inverted so that they 
are upright for the black player.

This is what I had in mind. The version with all labels ptinted the same way is 
for wall mounted displays.
