Thanks, Mike. The trees are (rather complex?) isosurfaces, with a similar
texture( i.e., similar warp{turbulences}.) Had great fun making this image--and
working out the kinks when something didn't work as I expected.
Creating a complex POV image is always a useful learning experience for me.

Those various ice textures took *lots* of time to work out (and RE-work!) Same
with the ground snow cover and its partially-icy appearance (actually just a
white plane, with normals, phong and a very precise amount of reflection.) I
probably spent more effort on those than on anything else in the image, and in
trying to blend everything together.
