Took 70 hours to render. And parts of it still don't look quite right. Hmmm...

Nice job, good lighting, cushion looks really comfy ;)

Does your water use reflection (or have anything to reflect?).
I suppose the fill level is where the stem "jumps" but I'd
expect some other indication of the water surface as well.

Excellent composition. From an aesthetic (as opposed to technical) point of
view, I feel that the work can be called a completed success. The lines and
angles produce well-balanced and interesting divisions of both the three
dimensional space being modeled and the two dimensional plane of the image.
Also, the organic nature of the shape of the flower is nicely emphasized by the
regular geometry of the setting. All in all, a splendid work of art.

I wish you much success in tweaking the last few technical bits (slightly more
visible water would, IMHO, be a good thing) so that the image will be exactly
as you wish it to be.

Best Regards,
Mike C.

beautiful, I agree. But 70 hours?!! O_o

It's very lit out there and yet the flower doesn't present any kind of
transparency, it's all shadowed... the edges of the lit window and other parts
are also very rough, no antialias? hmm, I suppose it features antialiasing but
the litght values are so high that povray has some trouble with color
clipping...

NICE!

I'd like to see this re-done with HDR effect.... like... render this image and a
darker version and merge them with the HDR function.

Ok, figured out why it took so long: 'always_sample' was set to 'true'. Now it
takes about 10 hours. Anyway, here's the final render. I'm done with it, now to
move on to something else.
