how about a very complicated isosurface with a very complicated texture?
I mean, wouldn't it be possible to create any scene that way with just 1
object ?

I'm assuming no instantiation at all right? Lets say you want to
difference a spherical bite out of a sphere and then difference an
identical bite out of another sphere, that would use up four of the ten
right?

That would have to be the rule, otherwise it would be possible to create
a very complex scene by using one huge 'simple' shape and then chipping
away at it sculture-style until you had an extremely complex shape

This looks like a lot of fun, so I've created a contest for it, over at
http://www.meetsoup.com/ -- it'll be like IRTC and whatall --- judged by the
entrants. Deadline is the end of the year.
Heeheehee. This is gonna be fun to see. Constraints are the greatest.
