Ooh. Dodecahedron. Fun. It would probably save some space if they were
compressed as jpeg's, although what with broadband and such these days, who can

As long as the quality is high, it is very difficult to notice the difference.
Even the highest quality jpeg's are significantly smaller than most png's. A
program like Gimp (2.4!) can show a realtime preview of the image with
compression and file size.
