<Insert quip about Escher's dog or spot-remover here.> Anyway, here's an
improved version of what I started... some time in 2001. From the original
post,
"I don't think it would be too hard to add
in the back half of a dog going through the
door, so as soon as I have some time (maybe
a few years from now :) ), I'll add that in."
Well, here we are, so here it is. The dog and hammer are the new additions,
both made in Wings3D. Very useful program.

This image looks very precise in it's screwed(skewed?)-upness. Well
done! I can't imagine what it would look like with siding or shingles.

Let me make a guess... I think not :-)
Look at this image: just one render!

Excellent image. Aside from the illusion (flawlessly executed), a very nice
wood texture and I like the indentation in the grass around the hammer!
Well I'll be darned... another dog-gone optical illusion...?
(waits for groans)

Of course not. And frankly I'm a bit insulted. Really though, the scene is
simply a three-dimensional projection of a seven-dimensional hyperreality in
which the dog isn't even in the doghouse. And if you don't buy that load of
gibberish, it's just some CSG.
