I had an inspiration for a POV image yesterday, so here it is. I'm afraid
I've abandoned POV-purism, so there is post-processing. (In fact, for the
final image, I plan on editing in an image of a man looking upward at the
base of the lit column.) The textures could use more work, but I'm mostly
concerned with the mood. Anyway, let me know what you think. Thanks.

Looks like post-processing scared everyone away. ;-)
It's a nice image, but it looks like something is missing. I wouldn't know
what, though. I love the media, but I guess that is what you
post-processed?

I know! I was starting to feel shunned! That'll teach me to
post-process...well, maybe... :)

Yes, the media is post-processed. I decided I could spend three hours
getting the media settings right in POV, or thirty seconds post-processing
and get nearly the same result.

Its a simple image, but it captured my mood: looking for some break in the
monotony of life.

Whatever the way to achieve this, the scene has great potential. The man
figure should be essential of course, but - I don't know why - I see a large
spider (not a fat one, rather a slim one) coming down on a thread...
