Hmm, too many things that clash aesthetically, IMHO. The five-pointed stars
could work well in a non-realistic scene, but they look out of place so
close to those image maps. The yellow colour on the walls makes me sick,
for some reason (no kidding). And the blue looks somewhat out of place, but
that may change after you get rid of that ghastly yellow (sorry!) You could
try one of the redder golds in golds.inc. Another option might be to use
the skin's opposite colour. Depending on where you sample it, it might be
something like R 85, G 130, B 127 or thereabout.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the comments Grassblade. The scene is supposed to look garish I
was trying to create something that imitated Byzantine Art.
It does not help that my aa settings are too low and the frame looks flat
compared to an image with better settings. It is for an animation and I
thought that I had settings that would not flicker, Wrong! :-)
Concerning the blue I definitely agree with you that needs to go. The views
universes, hmm!
where it goes.
