I saw 'Sphere Cluster' over on http://www.slimeland.com/ and really liked
the idea, so I thought I'd play around with it some. Here the spheres are
on a grid with a random height and size. I like Slime's version better,
but the idea is right.

And here's one with the light inside a cluster of colored spheres. I like
this one better than my first one.

And one with a scene. This is still a wip.

Cool. I like the second version the best for the colors. It looks like the
first one needs higher quality radiosity settings.

:o)

I like the broad-stroke effect of the images, but the moon doesn't seem to
fit in. Here's an attempt at a bit more unified scene.

Upping the settings makes a huge difference, both in quality and time to
render. This took nearly 8 hours to render at 2560x2048, whereas it took
maybe 30 minutes before. I think I'll stick to admiring yours :o) Thanks
for the inspiration though

Last one. I used the technique described here
http://www.nolights.de/stills/makingof/rose/rose.html
I think it turned out well enough. Time to move on :o)
