Hi all.
Today, June 28th, is the Gay Pride Day.
I did this for an exposition that's taking place here in Bilbao.

Interesting textures. The shapes remind me of the 'trees' used with plastic
model cars. The background reminds me of frosted acrylic plastic. If I saw
it anywhere else, I'd think it was a photograph.
What is the significance of the 4th row? The shapes seem to have a different
cross-section than the other rows and are dull-blue.

The textures are simple ones, for example this one is the red:
texture {pigment { color rgb <1.0, 0.0, 0.0104>}
finish {ambient 0.3
diffuse 0.7
specular 1.0
roughness 0.005
}
}
The colors used in the image create the gay flag (also called rainbow flag)
The shapes are the male and female symbols.
The trick is the lighting. There is no light in the scene. Radiosity was
used for that matter.

The meaning of the 4th row is that those symbols are the ones of the gays
and lesbians. Their texture is a mirror one.
Also the tittle is a play on words. In Spanish, pride is called "orgullo",
so the word "or-gay-o" is a mixture between "orgullo" and "gay" (pride and
gay).

Thanks for explaining Orgayo! Excellent!
Reminds me of the mid-70's and the very first pre-Gay Prides of Amsterdam,
where I participated (with my wife! :-)) as a photographer. Made some
memorable snapshots (in BW) then, especially spectators. Those were the
pioneering days. I stopped going in the late 70's already, because I felt it
had lost its "enthusiastic innocence".
