It is a while since I have posted anything here however that is mainly
because I have been busy on several images at once. I felt that it was
probably time to get round to finishing to one of them and post it to see
what everyone thinks. This picture was one that I have been developing as a
way of teaching myself to use atmospherics and try out my recently worked on
cloud macro. Not everything in this picture seems to be perfect, for example
my ability to find suitable random numbers to distribute the clouds as
equally and well as I would like however I got fed up after trying through
about 100 random numbers. I would also like to thank Tim Attwood for
answering my questions on the newsgroups in relation to this picture. So
here it is...

P.S I was surprised after 2 hours rendering with high anti-aliasing to find
that part of the sky had a slight streakyness to it for no reason and
having not appeared in any test renders. Any suggestions for this anomaly
would be appreciated.

Very nice sky. The clouds are good, the colours are lovely.

The rocks and the water look less convincing, but it's still a rather 
lush image.

Great pic, IMO. I think I can detect the same streakiness in Kirk Andrews
last pic posted in the Mountainscape thread. It seems to affect areas that
are above a body of water?
