It seems to have worked the first time.

Very nice. I'm impressed how simple the blood-spatter is while still 
looking great. :-)

The eight is neat, too. It could use some ior and photons, though.

BTW, did you write a macro for the blood-splatter, or are the splotches 
hand-placed?

Cheers mate. The blood splatter (and everything else!) was done with a
height field and hand drawn in the gimp.

If anyone has read this far and not gotten the joke, eight sounds like ate
when spoken. So the answer to the question: 'Why is six crying?' is
'because 7 ate 9' ;)

Which leads me to the question: Why is 9 so damn important for 6?
