I finally got round to trying Wings 3d. This is not a great picture in any
way, but I learned a few things from making the spoon: it is essential to
have decent blueprints, and it's also important to analyze the shape and
make a correct start, otherwise it's a lot of work to correct it later in
the process.

I think a tablespoon could be the new sphere ;) I think at some point I've
downloaded Wings but I still haven't gotten around to trying it.

I agree with the sentiment about a correct start. The more things you have
that are dependent on earlier things, the more things you have to tweek
later along with the earlier things. That's also why I like to make things
as modularized and parameterized as possible in SDL.

I like this. Maybe its the symmetry... and the colours.
The joys of modelling. There are so many wrong ways to go about it (that's
my experience). But, your spoons turned out nice. It would be great to see
this with HDRI added.

Aha - The Matrix!

A Google search for "There is no spoon" gave ca 304,000 results; the two
first were these: http://www.friesian.com/matrix.htm and
http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/The_Matrix

Amazing.
