Hi, my second post in this newsgroup ;)
I started this scence years (literally) ago; I was alway interested in
Pov-Ray and I'm constantly reading the newsgroups, but somehow I never had
enough inspiration to create my own image. This GBA -picture was the only
time I did more than just experiment with pov-ray;
The object is CSG with primitves only. (screen texture is an image map of
course) I really enjoy using the SDL for creating things, but I'm really
bad when it comes to lighting and texturing;
Nevertheless I want to to more with pov again,
hope you like the picture

Very nice! Though no BGA I've ever seen was quite that clean, scratch-free
;) They're all covered in scratches from 12 year olds abusng them ;)
Nice work though. Goes to show what they could look like fresh from the box

I don't think you are that bad... the texture seems right to me... it
does look very new, but if this were a product shot, the client would
only want minimal changes, I'm sure :)

You should, you're good at it!

I do. It's funny you should post an image of SMW, because I am hacking
that very game right now. There's a great utility for this... it's
called LunarMagic. If you ever thought of making your own levels and
graphics for SMW, this is the tool to use.
