I hate to be the one to criticize, but some of the overlaps in your image 
are "flawed", at least in the sense that they cannot be explained by 
traditional "impossible figures logic". I've attached an image that shows 
two places where are bar is cut by another bar in a way that does not make 
sense. The cut bars stop abruptly here, even though the "cutting car" is 
obviously not in front of it (as the illusion should make it seem like) as 
there is a third bar in between the two other bars. (Perhaps this is what 
you refer to when you say that the effect is not perfect.) Not only is the 
cut "illogic"; it also weakens the illusion, since it's far more obvious 
that it is just a part of the front bars that are cut away.

The "flaw" can easily be corrected by either making the bars smaller or 
showing the figure from an angle that is not problematic. This is also an 
argument that animated rotating figures cannot be done without braking the 
illusion in the same way that it is broken in this image.

Other than that, very nice image.
