It makes me think that this would make a good viral email. Simply make the
claim that Nintendo just released this screenshot from their new Wii
console. Of course, creating viral emails is wrong...
But anyway, it looks great. I think you've actually brought things to life.

Thanks! I'm not sure where I want to go next with this, it really had only
started out as a test for my lighting experiments. I'm not entirely happy
with the pirahna plant body, it's only blobs and I've resisted getting into
meshes yet.

Great concept. I'm a huge fan of SMB.
I think you need to increase your AA settings though, the boundaries seem a
little grainy.
