Hmm, do you think the outside bit in the distance should be brighter? I
would have expected the outdoor bit to be almost completely white.
Here's one of my photos, you can just about make out the "outside" in the
distance.

Nice composition though. If you want another car I am working on a Peugeot
205 at the moment (might post here when it gets good enough).

Excellent joke, Rene.
I like the idea of combining this three car models, but wouldn't have
thought of integrating portaits of the artists.
Is the background made with povray or is it based on a photo?
There seems to be an issue with the tires of the mini. They are too big. The
subtle rusty texture on the car body is extremely good, but the textures of
the iron girders aren't good enough.
One of the best povray images I've ever seen!

Nah... I've jumped many times like that with my GS, and the landing
was always very smooth. ;)

Great work! But I prefer the color version: looks much more convincing
(I don't know why, but I always see B&W in raytracing as a bit "fake").
BTW, I now remember that I didn't model the brakes on the GS!

Certainly yes! but if I did the background brighter in order to respect
optical principles then we would not see the GS car, so I took some
liberties... you know I'm just an artist... ;-)

The background is made with simple photos mapped on boxes.
Geometry and almost textures of the mini are original (made by Gilles),
however, the rusty on the body is 2d post-processing because I didn't have
the mini uv-maps.
Note that the Watt street (rue Watt) really exists. It is an old street in
Paris (the only one with no houses), with an overpass above the train
tracks.
