Enjoy yall! Comments requested.
With the recent postings of planets, I thought to contribute some, and to
contribute some source code over the next few weeks.

Ha! I always knew it - I am a TRENDSETTER! :-)
Nice work, Eagle Sun! But why not you create your own planet not so much of
concrete but of paradisic islands in turkey water? Create your tropical
islands world! Create your paradise world! Or a world of an ancient
civilization full of craters today. Or create the Star Wars world which is
the seat of the senate (I forgot its name, but I mean the one which is just
a huge beautiful city ull of orange-yellow ambient rings).
Take these words just as suggestions, if you like. I am looking forward to
see more, many more of your creations!
Best greetings,
Sven

Yes! Go on with many more planets. Hint: The strong blue atmosphere does not
fit with the planet's over-all color. Use the PCP
("povray-binaries.utilities") to adjust the atmosphere colors. Currently,
the un-fitting atmosphere color is the only thing what makes the entire
image not looking as realistic as it could.
Anodda hint: there is a keyword which switches the shadow-casting of an item
off. I think, you should remove the shadows of the planetary rings, Eagle
Sun. Usually, the rings consist only of relatively tiny pieces of ice,
stones or dust. Their shadows should be much, much more descent, at least
here in this scene.
I also intend to create many more planets. Some habitable, some
non-habitable. A wide variety of surface, atmosphere, orbital and lunar
features is possible!
Later,
Sven

Is the blue in the ringed planet or the blue in the moon-planet? For the
moon planet, I tried to make a bluish atmosphere where the lower altitudes
are quite foggy, thus the whitish appearance. What do you suggest?

Yeah, I thought of lightening the transparency of the rings.
