An exercise in media.

I realize sunsets are an overworked subject, but I had to work off some
Terragen envy. Funny, even minimal JPEG compression noticeably desaturated
the aircraft warning lights.

Cool. I think it'd be good to have a taller image with more shown below the
horizon; my eyes are drawn to the bushes in the lower right and I want to
see more of them.

Great colors though.

Wow, that's a rendered image? Very, very nice. Any chance of the source for
the sky?

You're right, it certainly could have benifited from a vertical format. At
the same time I wanted the sun glare in the image and still see some
diffuse illumination on the tower without zooming too far out. That needed
a wide horizontal viewing angle. As it was I had to cheat.

The trees are a bit strong, and do draw the eye. Unfortunately there is
nothing under them; probably about .5 POV units of nothing. Sloppy scene
building on my part I guess.

Appreciate the comments.

I Just stuck it over in p.b.s-f.

I stripped it down, so the focus is only on the sky. Still not very clean.

Although it's hard-coded for sunset colors, you can still tweak the sunset
by setting the sun slightly higher or lower.

It doesn't matter how overworked they are if they look this good, I would
like to see it at a slightly higher resolution with better AA for the wires
from the tower. Other than that it could easily pass as a photograph.
