looks very realistic

comments:
- I would have expected that ball 1 would have had the marking 314,
ball2 159 etc untill ball15 939. You have labeled them in top to
bottom left to right fashion with the colors more or less random.
I admit that the 'right' labels and random balls would be less
understandable. OTOH the first is not readable because of the focal
blur, so most people would need the caption anyway to understand
   what this is about.
- You may not be aware of it, but you have used part of the lyrics
of a song from Kate Bush's latest album. I don't think that this
is a violation of copyright, however, because there is prior art
   in this case.

Fair comments - I'll have a look at renumbering - starting 314 bottom left -
going right then up! Probably will be better.

Thanks for the advise on (c).

Other than saying I love the look of this ....

... I think this organisation is very poetic. The more digits you get
into pi, the harder it is to calculate .. it just gets fuzzier and
fuzzier :)

Cheers!

Yes, I agree with this, very cool poetry there.

Right. That is great. Where is the 1600x1200 Version to use it as a
desktop background?

very nice.
If I may just make one comment, i think the focal blur is a bot over the
top.
Half the blur would look better i think. If you get this much blur then your
nose is so close to the object that you would expect some distortions
towards the edge of the image.

I find it nice, too. By the way, how did you get pi's digits? Did you just
write the first 45 of them, or did you use some algorithm to calculate as
many as wanted?

Nothing too fancy I'm afraid. I got the digits themselves off the web. I
then created an image map for each of the balls with the relevant digits.
