I have been working with Pov-ray for quite some time but this is my first
image that I have uploaded.
I modeled most of the guitar in Hama Patch. The Curtains and microphones
where modeled in Blender and the rest is povray sdl.

That's beautiful. It's a theme that I am sure many a pover has
considered but no one, that I can recall, has actually pulled off.
Until now that is. Bravo!

That really is good. I particularly like the wooden texture on the floor,
and it's reflections are perfect!
Very nice.

Wow! Almost perfect, Randy.
What model is the Gibson? It looks a lot like a Les Paul, but not quite.
OTOH, I've mostly been a Fender player, myself.
I think the white trim around the body is a tiny bit too pure and bright,
compared to the general light level in the scene (but that could just be my
gamma settings on this monitor). Also, I was thinking that a pearly effect
(maybe using irid ?) on the fingerboard inlays would be good, too.
The curtains and cables all look perfectly realistic to me (I've been
playing with chains quite a bit recently). The Marshall is so good I can
almost hear it humming. :)
The floor looks pretty, but maybe just a bit too shiny to be real, although
I have seen new polished wooden floors that were so reflective they almost
looked wet.
I hope you realize that you will have to post some variation on the
traditional 'reflective sphere over checkered plane' image to be properly
accepted here. :) OTOH, if this scene is set in a ballroom, then your shiny
stage floor could be seen as a reflective plane over a ball. :)

The guitar is supposed to be a Les Paul Custom. The white around the guitar
is probably too white. My brother mentioned the same this. However, I am
done with this scene and am moving on to other and hopefully better things.
Thanks for your comments.
