Hello,

Set up a simple scene with my first model I made JPatch. :)

Earphones were made in jpatch, cords are b-spline sphere sweeps, blur code
for table from nolights.de. All textures are procedural. I think the foam
cushions turned out pretty good for just being a crackle color map, with
some of the colors being transparent. Used micronormals for the metallic
paint.

Posted the source and models at binaries.scene-files.

Any comments on how to make it more photorealistic are welcome.

Love it brandon! Looks great ..

The foam is just magic and the micro-normals are terrific -- best
painted-plastic look I've seen from POV.

The only suggestion I have is I can't work out which way is up, and at
what angle... can I have something with a nice vertical in the picture?
A glass or something else. They almost look stuck on a wall after you
stare at them for a while...

Thanks and Cheers!

great looking textures. I think it could look better if you used radiosity
and upped the quality on the area light so it's less grainy. or perhaps, no
area light and just use radiosity with a bright object acting as a light...
whatever Lightbeam uses for his scenes ;)

nice modeling job too

Fantastic! Love the shadows, for some reason.

Shouldn't that be "dentes" for teeth?

Here is a wip.
The model isn't as good as Scott's, but, it's comming along.

A few changes to the turntable and a completely new table texture and I'll
stop.

Any suggestions are welcome.

If I make it too real, I might get in trouble with Sony. :P

What a neat concept. Tell me: Does it have electronic skip protection? ;)

hahah...it's possible. Could have a little three axis accelerometer measure
the acceleration, then, apply a force to the arm with magnets under the
rear bulb for up/down and something to rotate the arm positioner for
left/right. heheh.
