I was mesing about, trying to get a good 'rough sea' texture applied to a
torus, and inadvertently stumbled across this...
Could make some nice dragon scales or palm tree bark.
Anyways, I just thought I'd share.
(Still haven't got that 'rough sea' yet, and yes I've tried f_ridgedmf -
looks awful).

Very nice, thanks! I did have a need for dragon scales last year,
this would've worked nice.
