hey everybody!!

this is a WIP of my moon buggie whit the hexonalized torus(posted here
earlyer).
someone mentioned it as "space frame tires". And i tought, yes i coeld do
something with hate. so i posted it half way before you all forget the
hexonalized
torus and have no idea what im talking about.(wich you wont anyway because
of my bad english:) hope you like

 Can you show that version? I might be wrong, but keep the hex tyre pattern

well i made a big story around the picture and i dont think it will fit when
its traditional.

sure but my povray is sort of broken at the moment so you might have to have
pactience.:)

Nice.
Just a note: the actual moon bugy had "tires" made out of hollow metal meshes. You
could actualy see 
trough them. If I remember correctly, there where several of those meshes, one inside
the other, to 
give the tires a progressive firmness. On ocasions, when the relation camera-bugy-sun
was correct, 
you could get a glimpses of the inside on the direct TV broadcast.

It just needs a gold POVray badge fitted to the front grille...

As Alain indicated rubber isn't really all that traditional for moon
buggies.
And black is not really a good colour for stuff in space due to the
temperature cycling from shadow to direct sunlight.
I suspect that big black rubber tyres on a moon buggy would last about as
long as chocolate ones. :-).

yeah thats a great idee ill work on that!

as i already sad my goal wasn't to make a traditional moon buggy
and also the tyres where what started this project. but it could be nice
spare tyre.
