Hi everybody! this is the companion message to the one with same subject in
"new users".
The image is a preview of my current work. Much room for improvement yet...
some cells on the left were mistakenly filled with sand, due to the ground
being higher than their floor. This is now corrected, the "footprint" of
the pyramid being substracted from the ground with a CSG difference. The
colorfull beads were rigidly stuck in one of the 3 available corners of
their cell. They are now randomly placed anywhere in their cell. As for the
color discrepancy, it may not be striking, but it is visible, and i'd like
to take care of this issue also before re-rendering the full scene... please
see my other message. Thanks!!!

J-Y

I can't help with your question, but very cool concept and image!

I love the look of those spheres on the tiny checkered planes. Really
cool idea. I'd darken the whole thing a bit to increase the glow effect
of the spheres even further, though :)

Scott and Florian, thanks for the kind words! True enough, the spheres are
glowing and cast no_shadow... You gave me the idea to render this scene
twice : once as a daytime view, and once at nighttime.
