Just got around to doing a decent quality render of a WIP I've had knocking
about for a while. Some gambling stuff that never got put into a scene.
Just simple CSG and some image maps. Not happy about the green baize
texture (the fine detail was lost with the focal blur) but looks ok.

Nice ! This is the first time I see a really decent poker-related image
made with povray...
I have actually tried to reproduce this little plastic bright-grainy
aspect on a more classical kind of chip, without success...

Yours look cool though !

I tried a similar scene a while back, and Rune's furTex macro worked wonders
for the green table texture. I used an rgb of <0.137255,0.556863,0.137255>
and it worked pretty well.

Hope this helps!

[Nice work, by the way. Much nicer than mine was!]

Cheers for the advice (and the comment). I'm not going to modify it, I've
got other stuff to work on at the moment (like actual work... grr!) but
I'll bear that in mind for the next time I need similar.

Very cool! I don't suppose I could get a hold of the scene and source for
this? :)
