Hey!
Um...I am working on an image that I may soon be posting here, but I have
run into a problem with one of the essential
finishing touches.

It has to do with Chris Colefax's object bender inc file.
Can completed bent objects be used in CSG, say..in a difference?

Like...

#declare Intake =
cylinder{
    0.01*z, 2*z, 1
}

#declare Bend_Object = object{Intake}
#declare Bend...Yada, Yada, Yada

#declare Intake_2 = #include "bend.inc"

difference{
    box{
        <2,2,-4>,
        <-2,-2,0>
    }
    object{Intake_2}
}

I believe so, sort of. It depends a lot on how the surfaces end up in the
bend object. Insides versus outsides stuff. Been way too long since I used
that include file to remember its details but I know it slices the original
object up and moves it. If the slices leave places showing inside surfaces
that are then differenced by something else then it'll be inversed. You can
try adding the 'inverse' keyword to your CSG as a whole or one of the
objects to see if it corrects matters. Just realize that it might be a
reversed problem then too.
