...from an image on an imageboard, specifically
http://img.kukaionline.com/egl/src/1127697699198.jpg ...mine's just a
quickish doodle, threw together a few bits in Poser and rendered in
POV...mine is kinda lame, needs work (especially on the pose of the
arms, they look too Poser-y to me)...oh well.

I think it looks great. I love Poser characters and it's nice to see them
rendered in Pov-ray. Keep up the great work!

Is that dynamic hair? If so, how did you export it? If it isn't, what
texture did you use?

It looks like "Koz's Short Bob" from Digital Babes. Transmapped hair.

It also looks like one of the supplied textures "short_bob_brown.jpg"

Transmapped Hair ?
as I understand the concept of it there is no real possebility for
light interaction with scene lights, so you have to adapt the light
settings corresponding to the hair texture to make look it right.
beside of this: nice idea and setup.
you may add up a glowing aura around the shadow line to make it even
more surreal.

Kozaburo does paint hilites into his textures, which I wish he wouldn't do.
Would like to swap material settings on skin, eyes, etc. with those who use
Poser figs in Pov-ray.

I'd like to figure out how to use Poser 5/6's hair room, but you can't
use that in POV, so not much point. :P
