Okay, so I just posted on the subject of Greebles, and I decided, "let's
see how my greeble works as a normal map!"  So I bashed together a
spaceship, of a type that, of course, no-one here has *EVER* seen
before...

Sadly, there are issues.  Note in the image below that the greebles get
distorted when you're looking at areas angled away from the Y plane -
especially the leading edges of the wings, the sides of the neck, etc. 
The two big bumps on top of the command section are CSG, but the normal
map made 'em look a little cooler...a little...

Any way I can fix this issue?  Source file is included after the image.
