Not a particularly inspiring pic, but the entire source code was machine
generated, using POV Tree and a fractal generator written by me. Thoughts?

I'm gonna get some sleep. It's almost morning here!
Textures, trees, sky and water need better texturing, but I like it already!

I like it...
Looks like the trees should come closer to the shoreline, and the ground
looks a tad shiny for bare earth... could also use some AA, but I suspect
this image took hours to render as it is ;-)
Nice work...
Andrew.

Actually, it took only six minutes to render. I cheated in many ways.
But, yes, a less shiny ground would be good, as would AA. Noted; I shall
re-render.

Mmm... that's some impressive cheating!
(I only just discovered TomTree, and spent over 24 hours waiting for a
single tree to render *without* AA. When I turned on AA, it took 24 hours to
render 1 line of pixels, so I gave up! I guess a giggahertz-class PC just
isn't good enough any more...)

I like it. It has a good sense of depth. Could the horizon be a little
higher?

For machine generation, this is impressive.
Can you move the camera around? There might be another interesting image at
human height above the ground, maybe with a couple of the birches framing
the inlet.

That's a good thought, and I shall see what I can do with it.
